Coles expands its Uber Eats business

Coles Group is expanding its Uber Eats partnership, with plans to offer the service from 500 additional stores in the coming months.

Customers can use the service to order last-minute items and have them delivered quickly.

Coles is increasing the number of products that can be ordered and delivered via Uber Eats to “thousands.”

The plans for expansion came shortly after the closure of MilkRun, an Australian-owned grocery delivery service that also operated in the rapid local delivery space.

Customers in Melbourne are the first to have access to the expanded Coles Uber Eats services, which are available at nearly 40 locations.

Uber will also provide ‘last-mile delivery’ for online customers to Coles and its liquor store chain, Liquorland, in the coming months.
