Scott Wall, BankVic’s chief information officer, has gone to Bank Australia, also located in Victoria, to take up the post of chief transformation officer.
Wall had been the CIO of BankVic, which provides services to police, fire, and medical personnel, for almost four years and had previously served as the bank’s chief digital and data officer.
He has since transferred to Bank Australia, which began as the CSIRO Co-operative Credit Society and is now comprised of the activities of 71 other credit unions and co-operatives.
Damien Walsh, managing director of Bank Australia, stated that Wall is coming “at a moment of extraordinary growth.”
“With substantial experience in top technology and transformation roles in Australia and the United Kingdom, Wall will manage our business transformation effort, with a focus on our technology platforms to enhance customer and staff experience,” the bank said in a statement.
“He will also be in charge of project management, change management, execution of transformation strategies, operational excellence, and enterprise architecture.”
Wall formerly worked with ANZ, Barclays Bank, SkyTalk, Deutsche Bank, and Bankers Trust in top technology and transformation roles.
