Australia- young Children between age five and 11 are unlikely to be vaccinated against Coronavirus before January, Health Minister Greg Hunt says. Recently, United States regulators allowed Pfizer’s vaccine for younger Children. They authorizes a 10- microgram dose for Children age 12 and older. However, Australia’s national medical regulator the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) is in the process of reviewing safety for younger children.

It is important to assess before the shots are roll out to younger kids, the nation’s experts immunization adversary body says. Meanwhile, health minister Greg Hunt says it is still unclear whether Australians need more than one booster shot.

Medical Experts operate independently

Meanwhile, Health Minister Greg Hunt believes it is in the hands of medical experts to decide against vaccination. He said, they are independent and hopefully it would occur early next year. Also, he said ‘’they’re going as quickly as possible.’’

Adding to the information, he said, they are watching the United States very closely for the results. ‘’ it was a very small clinical trial by vaccine clinical trial standards. Only a few thousand Children. They will see very significant numbers of Children in the general population vaccinated in the United State.’’

He also insisted that once health experts approve the vaccine for children, it will expand its rollout. The government has doses that require for Australians.
