ADELAIDE BUSINESS OWNER SPEAKS OUT ABOUT HIS INFAMOUS ANTI-VAXX SIGN

Following a nation-wide debate on mandating vaccines, an anti-vaxx businesss owner from Adelaide had decided to “make a statement”.

Peter King, the director of Gigantic Signs in Adelaide, is responsible for the sign that seeks to ban vaccinated people from his shop and help people “wake up”.

The sign, which reads “DO NOT ENTER IF YOU HAVE BEEN COVID-19 VAXX’D”, was placed on the Kent Town shop’s window.

He said he drew inspiration from a winery in South Australia that said they would not accept unvaccinated customers and decided to turn the tables.

Despite placing the sign, King clarified that he wasn’t “enforcing anything”. He said that he would likely not question people’s vaccination status if they came to shop and that he’s simply making a statement.

“We have here, in Adelaide, a company that said they did not want to have any people going to their winery that weren’t vaxxed and I thought that was grossly unfair and intimidating.” King said.

He said that he’s indifferent about people’s vaccination status but the only reason he “goes the other way” is due to the aggressive push for mandating vaccines.

Despite the Covid vaccines going through the proper approval process with Australia’s Therapeutic Goods Administration before being rolled out to the population, he still does not trust the vaccine.

“(The vaccines) have not gone through full protocols … we’re witnessing human trials right now,” he said.

THE LEGALITIES OF THE SIGN

King said he had no intention of taking the sign down. Legal expert, Professor Rick Sarre, told Channel 7 that there’s nothing anyone can do about it.

“They can do whatever they like in terms of discrimination law because there’s no grounds of discrimination based on vaccination status,” Sarre said.

ONLINE BACKLASH

The business’ review page on Google has been slammed with mixed reviews since the sign went viral.

“Covid denier … I have a sign for this business. It’s a middle finger to them,” one review read.

“Not willing to look after their staff or customers basic health. Steer clear,” read another.

But others expressed their support. “Well done!!! I’ll be giving you my money. Support the unvaxxxed!!!!” a reviewer wrote.

“Thank you for taking a stand against those who wish to institute an apartheid state in Australia.,” wrote another.
