Aarti Joshi has been promoted to CIO by the NSW Department of Customer Service

Aarti Joshi has been appointed as the new Chief Information Officer (CIO) of the NSW Department of Customer Service (DCS), replacing Suneetha Bodduluri, who has moved to NSW Telco Authority as the acting Chief Digital and Technology Officer. The DCS spokesperson confirmed the appointment, stating that Joshi had been working on digital and innovation projects within the department for several years. She previously held senior positions in systems, enterprise architecture, and digital innovation at DCS. Joshi expressed her excitement about the new role on LinkedIn, emphasizing her commitment to leveraging technology and data to enhance customer-centric government services. Reporting to Chief Operating Officer Mandy Young, Joshi aims to lead the DCS in harnessing technology and implementing new ways of working. Prior to her time at DCS, Joshi held IT roles at Woolworths Group and Big W.
