3-YEAR-OLD AUSTRALIAN BOY FOUND IN BUSH AFTER 3 DAYS GONE VIRAL

CANBERRA, Australia- 3-year-old boy Anthony ‘AJ’ Elfalak, with autism found alive in bushes after going missing for three days in family’s remote rural property near putty, north of Sydney on 3rd September.

New South Wales police released a video of the boy gone viral, as the boy can be seen desperately scooping water into his mouth in a creek in putty, just before he was rescued. 

AJ reported having several rashes (diaper rash), and ant bites, and had fallen over. He was taken to the NSW Hunter Valley hospital.

Anthony Elfalak, AJ’s father said, “it’s a miracle. He’s alive. It’s amazing’’. 

He added, ‘’ I have been in the bush for four days, I haven’t slept’’.

Several media platforms reported the story with the headlines, as BBC featured, Australian boy, 3 rescued after days lost in the bush, also quoted his father mentioning it as‘ ‘miracle’’.

 Meanwhile, UK’s national police Air service appreciate NSW police’’ from South Wales, the UK to New South Wales, AU’’.

‘AJ IS A LITTLE SURVIVOR’ 

NSW police were looking for the Toddler and when they locate him, it was a ‘’relief ‘’ for them. AJ was found in a dense forest, with an unforgiving environment. 

The police Superintendent Tracy Chapman said, ‘’ obviously after three days, you know, desperate to find him, desperate to get an outcome such as this, so certainly standing here today, it’s a good news story,’’.

She added, ‘’ I think (being) so close to water is potentially what gave him that opportunity to survive.’’ He was found in remarkable condition. 

Paramedic Gerry Pyke, from NSW ambulance, said, “He is a little survivor, he was very, very thankful, you could see that in his eyes’’. 

AJ’s family was grateful for the reunite to everyone who had assisted in any way in search of the boy. The boy’s family said in a statement, 

‘’ Thank you to the NSW Police, Rescue Services, Volunteers, Community members, friends, and family who have worked tirelessly to find AJ, “the family added, “AJ is fine. Hold your kids close’’. 

An extensive search operation was organized by police officers with the help of local authorities including, the state emergency service, Rural Fire Service, NSW ambulance, and hundreds of Volunteer Rescue Association. 

Finally, the boy was spotted by aviation service PolAir, who then guide the ground search team to AJ’s location. 

However, it’s unclear why the 3-year old boy wandered off from his family.
