Google motion to dismiss the advertising antitrust case is denied by a US judge.

Google motion to dismiss the US Department of Justice’s antitrust case focused on advertising technology has been denied by a federal judge.

The government filed the ad tech lawsuit in January and is pushing for Google to sell its ad manager suite, while Google denies any wrongdoing. This is the latest attempt by Google to end costly antitrust lawsuits. The judge argued that market share was not the only factor to consider, and cited “rapacious conduct” as an example.

Additionally, the government’s review of Google’s past deals to increase its influence in ad tech was challenged by Google’s Eric Mahr.
